昨年の９．１１以降、JR総連は世界各国の労働組合に呼びかけ、テロと報復戦争に反対し、その被害者を支援するとともに、悲劇の背景にあるグローバルな利潤追求に反対することを訴える共同アピールを追求してきました。現在までに賛同を得た世界各地の労働組合とともにここに以下のアピールを発します。
テロと報復戦争に反対する
International Joint Declaration of Unions against Terrorism and Wars of Retaliation
Considering the alarming situation of repeated mass slaughters taking place in different parts of the world, we trade unionists have agreed to the following declaration to the people of the world.
1 We are against terrorism and wars of retaliation-against-terrorism, because both these actions claim the lives of workers, trade union members, and people in general.
2 We stand in solidarity with the people who have suffered or whose lives are threatened by terrorism and by war.
3 We are against corporate globalization activities, which destroy jobs, local communities, and the environment, bring about poverty and oppression, and fan the flames of hatred, violence and create hotbeds of terrorism.
The union signatories will work in their own countries to achieve these objectives.
労働組合国際共同アピール
われわれは大量殺戮が繰り返される世界の現状を憂慮し、以下の見解を労働組合として国際社会に広くアピールすることに同意した。
- 労働組合員を含む多くの人命を無差別に奪う、テロおよびテロへの報復を掲げた戦争に反対する。
- テロや戦争によって生命・生活を脅かされ、苦しんでいる人々を支援する。
- 雇用と地域社会と自然を破壊し、貧困と抑圧をもたらし、憎悪と暴力とテロの温床を生む国境を越えた利潤追求活動に反対する。
これら目標に向け、以下に署名した労働組合は相互に連携し、それぞれの国で行動する。
